She is growing fast.  I can't wait to see her again in December! 💕

Going Back in Time (Journey Through Time)

 A program done at our church.  It was great fun and good learning. 

Love & Loss

 Why are flowers appropriate to send to one who has lost a loved one?  Perhaps it reminds us of the beautiful times with them.  Perhaps it is a way to put a little sweetness in a time of melancholy and reflection.  

My husband's mother passed away a week ago.  We are grateful she did not suffer that long.  We are grateful we had her for 91 years.  She was an affectionate, loyal mother and grandmother.  She was thoughtful of everyone. She really loved her family.  She was around us so much, it is very strange not getting a phone call from her or driving the few miles to her assisted living facility to check on her. 

As Christians, we do not mourn like those who have no hope.  We will see her again.  That is what keeps us going.
